About the Artist

Hi, I’m Robert Hughes. I was born bald as I am today in Memphis, TN. My parents encouraged my creativity from an early age along with a love for animals. I graduated from University of Memphis with a BFA in 2010 and worked as Graphic Artist / Web Coordinator for The Pink Palace Museum. I took this experience to Chicago, working as a Freelance Graphic Designer and later designing/printing T-Shirts at Strange Cargo. My husband and I have made Nashville, TN our home where I had the opportunity to paint murals with Murals and More, LLC before starting Robert Hues Art in 2017. I have hundreds of paintings hanging on walls from Mexico to Canada, usually commissioned as gifts.
